About The Position

Overview: Sentara Family Medicine - Little Neck is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist-Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time days. (0800-1630) Overview Operates and maintains laboratory equipment. Responsible for both internal and external customer inquiries and problem resolution. Frequently interacts with hospital and physician office staff. May perform EKG and glucose meter. Maybe at the patient's bedside.

Requirements

  • HS Degree or GED Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - within 90 days

Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy course (preferred)
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
  • 1 year (preferred)
