The Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist is able to work independently and with minimal supervision and/or oversight. Successful candidates have the experience and skillset to perform one or more identified modalities, with compensation dependent on the number of modalities performed. Candidates without experience may be considered for a paid apprenticeship level. Regular in-person attendance during scheduled work hours is essential. This role requires performing duties in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining supplies and inventory, observing students and new staff, and exhibiting basic problem-solving skills to ensure exceptional customer and patient care service. Responsibilities include hospital communication, on-call duties, effective telephone and verbal communication, professional judgment, clerical functions, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in coverage for on-call, holidays, evenings, and weekends. Basic PC skills are also required.
