This is a four-week paid training program and is open to those that have little or no phlebotomy or laboratory experience. This innovative program is your first step to a challenging and rewarding healthcare career opportunity at TriCore! The Phlebotomy Training program provides a paid opportunity for you to learn phlebotomy skills and basic laboratory functions. This training is designed to equip you with best-practices used in the medical laboratory, medical terminology, and hands-on blood drawing and processing blood samples. Required time commitment is 7:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday-Friday for 4 consecutive weeks. This program is from February 23rd - March 20th. Apply today! Primary duties include collection and preparation of patient specimens. Obtains the skill of phlebotomy. May perform registration, courier or clerical duties depending on location. May perform and enter results for waived complexity tests and may load specimens on instrumentation for moderate complexity tests depending on location.
