Responsibilities

• Accesses, labels, and processes laboratory specimens.
• Loads specimens on lab analyzers and equipment.
• Performs patient registrations and orders lab tests in computer.
• Answers phone calls for laboratory information.
• Produces lab reports, sorts, and delivers.
• Picks up lab specimen from various hospital procedure areas.
• Processes and packs lab specimens for transport.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
