Job Summary and Qualifications Role Summary: Performs various functions relative to the Laboratory testing, to include but not limited to: clerical and computer functions; specimen accessioning and processing, performing a variety of phlebotomy techniques and assisting with other specimen collections and performing specified waived testing as required. Requirements

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: Health care setting as Laboratory assistant, Phlebotomist or Clerk

Nice To Haves

Preferred Education: Associates Degree
Preferred License: ASPT or ASCP Certification
Preferred Experience: 1 year experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Performs various functions relative to the Laboratory testing, to include but not limited to: clerical and computer functions
Specimen accessioning and processing
Performing a variety of phlebotomy techniques and assisting with other specimen collections
Performing specified waived testing as required
