About The Position
The position involves various responsibilities related to laboratory specimen handling and processing. The individual will be required to access, label, and process laboratory specimens, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently. The role also includes operating lab analyzers and equipment, as well as managing patient registrations and lab test orders through the computer system. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for answering phone calls related to laboratory information and producing lab reports for distribution. The position requires picking up lab specimens from different hospital procedure areas and processing them for transport. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.
