This position engages in a program of 'on-the-job' training to provide behavioral health services to clients of the counseling center. Practicum students observe, learn, and use basic skills for behavioral health work consistent with the requirements of their academic institution. Interns provide outpatient behavioral health services including diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapeutic treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, couple, and group therapy; provides consultation and educational services to community groups and agencies in a manner which respects diversity.
