Get to Know Your Team: Utica Park Clinic, founded in 1982, is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 300 employed physicians and advanced practice providers representing over 25 specialties across 80 plus clinics in Oklahoma. Assist Medical Assistants in basic tasks such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, answering messages, and contacting patients. Assist providers as needed in procedures and patient care. Assist Social Workers and Care Managers with patient outreach. Attend clinic meetings. The summer internship is a 10-week program in the months of May-August. Interns will be expected to work 20/hours per week and will coordinate their schedule with their supervisor.

Requirements

  • Enrolled at least half-time in an accredited community college, college, or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • OR be a recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate program and be applying for medical school in the corresponding year.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Medical Assistants in basic tasks such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, answering messages, and contacting patients.
  • Assist providers as needed in procedures and patient care.
