Anchor Academy is a therapeutic day school that specializes in trauma-informed services for students ages 10-22 with complex trauma histories, mental health issues, educational challenges, and/or behavioral difficulties. We use the evidenced based treatment model - ARC to help students build positive relationships, learn self-regulation skills, and transform their individual interests into sources of strength, resiliency and success. During Your Internship You Will: Carry a caseload of 3-4 students and provide individual counseling through the ARC model and trauma-informed lens Work with students toward their individualized IEP/treatment goals and track progress Co-lead psychoeducational clinical groups Collaborate with students, school districts, caregivers and community providers Provide in-the-moment crisis management when needed Complete all documentation related to case management, IEP development and data tracking Why JRI?
