About The Position

The intern will be expected to participate directly in the service aspects of the practice and in the teaching of senior veterinary students. The applicant will be mentored extensively in all areas of large animal veterinary practice including individual animal medicine and surgery, production medicine, and the business of veterinary practice. As the intern progresses and as the clients, faculty and the intern deem appropriate, the intern will be given independent case management responsibility. Some emergency duty will be expected as a compliment to the faculty veterinarians.

Requirements

  • D.V.M. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • DVM or equivalent
  • eligible for Ohio Veterinary Licensure and USDA accreditation.
