Clinical Intern, Summer (New York Office)
About The Position
The Dorm is a mision-driven, client-centered mental health organization bringing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to young adults, ages 18-30. We are looking for a passionate clinical intern to join our multidisciplinary New York City team and mission of making a difference. With us, you’ll be part of the next frontier in mental health care with an integrative treatment model and outcomes research approved by a third-party validated Institutional Review Board (IRB). We blend individualized therapy and skills coaching, hands-on family work, group-based clinical support and a bustling community and social Clubhouse experience unseen elsewhere in our industry. Requirements
- Masters Degree in Related Mental Health Field (MSW, MHC, MFT, PC) or currently in Masters Program.
- Proficient computer skills, ability to complete clinical notes and documentation accordingly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work part time.
Responsibilities
- Co-Facilitate Therapeutic Groups that are both Content and Process based.
- Foster community development within the Dorm and promote positive socialization.
- Complete all notes via electronic health record in accordance with deadlines.
- Complete all necessary training in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Assist clinical team with obtaining drug toxicology screen on clients.
- Perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
