See where we rank on US News SUNY Delhi is seeking dynamic and dedicated Adjunct Instructors for immediate openings for the Fall 2025 semester to teach clinical courses in our pre-licensure nursing program. Clinical learning opportunities are offered in a variety of healthcare settings in Delaware, Otsego and occasionally in surrounding counties. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Adjuncts may be eligible for generous healthcare benefits based on teaching load. Requirements
- MSN or enrolled in MSN Program
- Unencumbered NYS RN License
- Recent clinical experience

- Prior teaching experience
- Prior teaching at the collegiate level
Responsibilities
- Clinical Instruction and evaluation of pre-licensure nursing students
- Developing and managing course syllabi while adhering to department and college standards
- Collaborating with colleagues in course curriculum
- Delivering learning-centered instruction to undergraduate students
- Assist in the growth and success of a diverse population of students through careful preparation of course materials, effective teaching methodologies, informed critical feedback on assignments and discussions
- Develop and adapt curriculum incorporating current technologies into the clinical learning environment
- Implementing school/campus academic and attendance policies
- Pursuing knowledge of innovations and changes within subject area and field of practice
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations
