Overview Works in collaboration with area schools of nursing to coordinate student clinical and/or didactic educational experiences at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BSN) required and enrolled in MSN program (preferred) or enrolled in Masters program that is healthcare related.
• 3-5 years experience pediatric nursing (hospital or ambulatory setting).
• One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
• One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
• RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
• Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assists students to develop essential pediatric nursing knowledge and skills in order to provide safe, high quality patient and family care.
• Designs and develops effective student pediatric learning experiences in collaboration with faculty at designated schools of nursing.
• Develops and maintains positive professional relationships between clinical staff, leaders, and students.
