Requirements

• D.N.P. or Ph.D. degree in Nursing or related discipline from an accredited program.
• Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, or compact state recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years' experience in practice.
• Two or more years of senior clinical leadership experience (Chief Nursing Officer, AVP/VP, or Director) and demonstrate competency in content area of nursing leadership/administration.

Nice To Haves

• Certification (CNML, NE-BC, NEA-BC, CENP).
• Two years of teaching experience or mentoring graduate students for the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher.
• Demonstrates scholarship in teaching (case studies, integration of evidence into teaching, develops new teaching methods, creates clinical simulations, etc.).
