About The Position

Teaching in both clinical and laboratory settings, contributing to professional, and community service. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an ADA accredited dental hygiene program and eligibility for licensure are required. While licensure may be obtained at the associate level, a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene or a relevant field is required for this instructional position as the program at Idaho State University is a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.
  • Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene or relevant field.
  • Education and clinical experience in nonsurgical periodontal therapy and the administration of local anesthesia.
  • Clinical teaching experience with adult learners in a health professional program.
  • Must be a licensed dental hygienist who has graduated from an ADA accredited program (associate or bachelor level).
  • Maintain an active Idaho Dental Hygiene license.
