About The Position

We are looking for a tech-savvy Clinical Informatics & IT Analyst who understands that better data leads to better patient care. We value hands-on experience and a deep understanding of clinical workflows above all else. If you know your way around an EHR/EMR and can translate "doctor-speak" into technical requirements, we want to talk to you! This position partners closely with the CNO, Director of Quality & Risk, and clinical leaders to implement workflow improvements, support regulatory readiness, and maintain reliable EMR performance. This position also provides onsite IT troubleshooting and manages communication with the EMR vendor to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Provide training and education to staff on EMR updates, workflow changes, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards for quality, risk, audits, compliance, and operational needs.
  • Support incident investigations and RCA processes by extracting and analyzing relevant EMR data.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Provide routine and ad‑hoc data analysis to leadership, committees, and regulatory teams.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through data visualization and analytics.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for EMR issues, user access needs, and workflow questions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues; coordinate with external IT vendors as needed.
  • Manage EMR vendor tickets, track progress, escalate delays, and communicate updates to staff.
  • Maintain user permissions, security roles, and system configuration in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and validation of new EMR features.
  • Partner with the Director of Quality & Risk to align EMR workflows with regulatory and safety requirements.
