About The Position

The Clinical Informatics Analyst at Watson Clinic LLP is responsible for supporting the Clinical Informatics Director and Assistant Director by managing and enhancing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role involves building and updating the EMR system based on clinical specifications, developing training documentation, and providing system support to physicians and staff. The analyst will also analyze workflows to improve office processes and ensure compliance with relevant laws regarding electronic medical records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Epic Certification preferred.
  • Experience with an EHR system including build, reporting, and interfaces required.
  • Back-end knowledge of appointment scheduling and system reporting required.
  • Extensive computer experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Significant experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting required.
  • Ability to problem solve and work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Reporting and analytic background is a plus.
  • Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Clinical Informatics Director/Assistant Director.
  • Build and update the EMR system and supporting documents based on specifications from clinical staff.
  • Determine testing plans and create training documentation for implementation.
  • Provide system support to physicians and support staff, including retraining and workflow reviews.
  • Analyze workflows to identify automation opportunities for office processes.
  • Responsible for testing and implementation plans for EHR system upgrades.
  • Develop interfaces for information exchange with the EHR and assist with upgrade testing.
  • Maintain the EHR system related to record updates and overall functionality.
  • Assist in establishing clinic-wide policies for monitoring compliance with the EHR system.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with competitive salary range of $48.7K - $61.7K per year.
