About The Position

The Clinical Immunology Project Manager supports late-stage immunology programs by driving operational excellence across external testing partnerships and internal testing strategy and planning to support a diverse and growing portfolio of vaccines targeting infectious diseases. This role is responsible for planning, tracking, and coordinating clinical testing timelines, budgets, and deliverables across external partners and global clinical immunology laboratory platforms, while driving internal testing strategy through assessment of FTE needs across clinical and non-clinical activities to ensure appropriate resourcing and timely portfolio delivery. The Clinical Immunology Project Manager serves as the central point of contact for budget assessments and cycle-time analysis related to sample management and clinical testing milestones, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biology‑related science field; minimum 1-year relevant experience (preferably lab or clinical testing environment).
  • Systems: Strong Excel and Power BI skills; familiarity with RDPM (or similar project management systems) is a plus.
  • In a budget management perspective, financial reporting, resource planning and/or forecasting experience are desired

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of the 12-month rolling FTE forecasts for clinical and non-clinical testing activities, with quarterly updates aligned to portfolio planning cycles.
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for budget assessments and cycle-time analysis related to sample management and clinical testing milestones.
  • Lead weekly meetings with Finance Business Planners to review budget performance, forecast updates, and evaluate emerging risks or variances.
  • Facilitate quarterly reviews with Immunoleads to assess external testing budgets and internal FTE allocations, ensuring alignment with program needs, and liaise with program-specific Functional Business Planners on any updates or variances.
  • Conduct monthly budget forecast reviews with Strategic Alliance Managers focused on non-clinical testing activities; adjust forecasts as needed and communicate updates to Functional Business Planners.
  • Lead monthly reviews of the master clinical testing schedule with GCI platform leads, the Strategic Alliances External Partnership team, and Immunoleads to ensure cross-platform alignment, prioritization, and proactive resolution of resource or timeline conflicts.
  • Provide support to Biosamples team through routine updates of clinical trial timelines and key releases to ensure critical PPD related documents are completed on time.
  • Design and implement standardized budget tracking dashboards and cycle-time reporting templates using RDPM, Accord, and PowerBi.
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers responsible for supporting the immunolead platform through comprehensive operational and administrative functions.
