About The Position

McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital/Tri-Health is a community hospital serving Oxford, OH and surrounding communities by providing quality care and offering competitive wages and a full range of benefits. The Clinical House Supervisor directly interfaces with Charge Nurses, Physicians, and/or other staff as necessary to assure a smooth patient flow process, and provide active assistance to units with urgent and/or emergent patient care situations. The Clinical House Supervisor has the discretion to redirect or temporarily reassign staff to clinical units in order to assure patient safety and smooth operations among and between clinical units; may provide crisis management to families/patients and staff. Actively assists with patient admissions, discharges and transfers and provides emergency response to all codes. The Clinical House Supervisor must be able to prioritize, and delegate with speed and accuracy in urgent and emergent situations on all clinical units. The Clinical House Supervisor may assume a direct supervisory role and has express authority to initiate whatever action may be necessary to resolve employee performance or behavior issues in accordance with Hospital policies.

Requirements

  • 3 years minimum current acute care experience; 5 years highly preferred.
  • Minimum Associate RN Required; 4 Year/Bachelors Degree Preferred.
  • Current Ohio RN licensure.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS certification.
  • NNR certification.
  • Fetal Monitoring certification.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities
