Summary Job Summary: The Clinical Hematology Data Analyst provides support to the Senior Clinical Hematology Data Analyst and the Clinical Hematology Data Analyst Lead. Under the direction of the DA and the lead, the clinical data analyst is responsible for data entry, statistical analysis, QA checks of the databases and minor data abstraction. The Clinical Hematology Data Analyst is responsible for data entry into the hematology program database, including basic demographics, disease-specific information, etc. as directed by the lead. The position may abstract clinical data for specific research projects under supervision. Additional responsibilities include introducing tools and methods to support data management, quality assurance, and analytics to the team. Work must include high quality data capture and consistently accurate data to support research, clinical processes, planning, publications and administrative needs. The incumbent must be able to conduct biostatistical analysis as required to interpret data. Exercise independent judgement and project oversight with broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain data results. These duties require a high degree of critical thinking, communication and follow-through. Other applicable duties as assigned by Leadership.

  • Associate's Degree - Clinical research, public health, health sciences, biostatistics, computer science or other related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience working with database systems, data management, quality assurance in hospital, healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
  • A high degree of accuracy, excellent written and verbal skills are required to communicate with physicians, scientists and team members.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in producing accurate and high-quality deliverables is required.
