About The Position

AMFM Healthcare is seeking Clinical Group Facilitators to lead therapeutic group sessions for our virtual IOP program. In this role, you will guide clients through evidence-based practices, helping them develop the skills necessary for long-term stability and recovery. Ideal candidates will have experience facilitating groups in CBT, DBT, Trauma, Psychodrama, or other mental health modalities.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Master's degree in a clinically related field (Required).
  • Experience: Leading group therapy sessions (process, psychoeducational, etc.).
  • Experience: Working with individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues.
  • Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check and required screenings required by AMFM Healthcare.
  • Physical ability to sit for long periods, use a computer, and lift up to 10 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Resident in Counseling, Supervisee of Social Work, any associate level therapist.
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), LPC.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Work with acute clients experiencing co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and suicidal ideation.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and California Licensing Standards.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and create individualized care plans with measurable objectives.
  • Document client progress, develop transition and discharge plans, and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and act as a point of contact for families regarding clinical care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, quality management initiatives, and training programs.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, legal guidelines, and AMFM Healthcare’s policies and procedures.
