Lakeport Post Acute is excited to welcome a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist to our therapy team! This is a great opportunity for a new graduate to complete their Clinical Fellowship in a supportive, collaborative skilled nursing environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- California SLP license or eligibility
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, motivated, and eager to learn
- Interest in working in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services under CFY supervision
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing, therapy, and physicians
- Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately
- Educate residents and families on therapy goals and care plans
