About The Position

TheraCare is seeking dynamic Clinical Fellows looking to jump start their career by starting off with a comprehensive and rewarding experience while gaining valuable skills on the journey to becoming a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Under the supervision of an ASHA-certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellows will screen, diagnose and provide treatment to children up to 3 years old with communication delays in a variety of settings. After the completion of the fellowship, you will receive your ASHA CCCs and your state licensure. Finding the right setting to complete your Clinical Fellowship can be nerve-wracking and challenging. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech- Language Pathology or expected graduation
  • Clinical Fellow Year eligible in CT
  • Excellent attention to detail regarding session notes and report submission
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate with professionals in various disciplines and at different levels in order to best advocate for needs of children
  • Willing to travel to various settings for service provision
