About The Position

At Child & Family Development (C&FD), experienced clinicians join us to elevate their practice, shape emerging professionals, and contribute meaningfully to an interdisciplinary model of pediatric care. Established in 1980, we are Charlotte’s longest-standing private, outpatient pediatric therapy provider with a trusted reputation for quality, collaboration, and clinical excellence. Our integrated team includes Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Educational Specialists, Psychologists, Counselors, and ABA professionals—supported by a dedicated client services team. Mid- and senior-level counselors at C&FD can influence clinical programming, lead case conceptualization, and deepen their expertise in specialized therapeutic modalities. This position will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to clients of C&FD, including but not limited to evaluations and treatment services. Requirements

  • North Carolina provisional Speech Therapy licensure is required and must be active and in good standing.
  • Currently live in the Charlotte area or are planning to relocate to the Charlotte area in the next two months
  • SLP-CF.
  • Pediatric Speech Therapy: Externship in Pediatrics Required.

Responsibilities

  • This position will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to clients of C&FD, including but not limited to evaluations and treatment services.
