About The Position

The One-Year Clinical Fellowship Program at Parker Performance Institute aims to provide advanced training and specialized education for graduates of the Doctor of Chiropractic program who also hold a Master of Science degree in one of the following specialties: clinical neuroscience, functional nutrition, or strength and human performance. The program is intended for early professionals who are passionate about understanding and treating neurological conditions through non-invasive, evidence-based chiropractic methods that are enhanced by one of the above specialties. This fellowship will foster expertise in the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of neurological disorders, empowering fellows to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to advancements in clinical neuroscience, functional nutrition, and strength and human performance. JOB OBJECTIVES: The One-Year Clinical Fellowship Program will serve as a bridge between chiropractic education and specialized practice, equipping fellows with the skills and knowledge necessary to become expert chiropractic practitioners with a specialization in neuroscience, functional nutrition, or strength and human performance. This program aims to make significant contributions to the field of chiropractic neurology, improving patient outcomes and promoting evidence-based practices in neurological healthcare.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited university plus a Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience, Functional Nutrition, or Strength and Human Performance strongly preferred.
  • Related healthcare degrees (DO, DPT, OTD, etc.) are also considered.
  • Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, research, and patient care in the field of chiropractic neuroscience, functional nutrition, or strength and human performance.
  • Excellent judgment, quality assurance, and critical thinking skills.
  • Confident and friendly customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); Zoom, LinkedIn; social media, a plus.
  • Must be dexterous and ambulatory and ability to perform the routine duties of a chiropractor consistent with service necessary for up to one hundred (100) patients per day.
  • Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
  • Ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations or the ability to stand and walk.
  • Ability to lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to thirty-five (55) exerting up to thirty-five (55) pounds of force.
