About The Position

AOT, Inc., the leading provider of school-based related services, is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for a speech-language pathologist-clinical fellow to work with us in an intriguing new role! This is a full-time salaried position (year-round pay) that will include working with school-age students and offer seasoned clinical fellowship supervision and growth opportunities! We have been offering therapy services for more than 40 years. We prioritize our therapists and their work-life balance. We help them create a caseload and schedule that suits them. Our experienced Educational Therapy Managers and Peer Mentor Program provide guidance and clinical support. AOT is a great partner for clinician growth and stability! We keep abreast of new educational practices. We embrace innovation and research in each clinical specialization AND the educational arena to empower therapists to work effectively with teachers and parents. We also foster close relationships with regional universities and community groups.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Speech and Language Pathology Program
  • Educational or Instructional Certificate
  • Provisional License-Pennsylvania
  • We conduct a thorough background check.
  • All clearances must be completed within one year of the start date unless otherwise indicated.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred candidates have experience working with children in the school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Direct therapy with students in grades K to 12
  • Consultation with your Clinical Fellowship Supervisor, Educational Therapy Manager, teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Case Management may be required
  • AAC consultation may be required
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day
