About The Position

AnthroMed Education is a growing practice of Speech-Language Pathologists who support students in schools by providing high-quality speech services. We are expanding our team on the East Coast and welcome Clinical Fellows for this unique role near Columbia, MD! AnthroMed Education will ensure you have a wonderful Clinical Fellowship Mentor, bi-weekly team meetings with all SLPs on our team, and regular one-on-one support with our Clinical Support Director for all CFs. We provide a generous materials stipend for the school year and reimburse 100% of your ASHA dues and licensure fees in the state of Maryland. Requirements

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with school-aged kids
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid MD SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students
  • Conduct evaluations of speech and other disorders for school-aged children
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with goals targeting students
  • Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and other assistive technologies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings for the development of students' individualized education programs
  • Engage in continuous professional learning and development through supervision, mentorship, and ongoing education
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members within the school district including educators, family members, etc.
