About The Position

The Clinical Excellence Program Manager at Texas Health Arlington Memorial is responsible for leading the advancement of nursing professional practice to enhance patient outcomes and professional development. This role involves clear communication with nursing leadership and other teams regarding progress and strategies for achieving ANCC designation. The manager will facilitate a Magnet culture, ensuring an optimal professional practice environment that meets organizational goals and benchmarks for nurse satisfaction and retention. Additionally, the manager will oversee the design and deployment of organizational efforts for Magnet or Pathway to Excellence designation applications, working collaboratively with teams to improve patient satisfaction, nurse engagement, and other key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Masters Degree required; must have a Bachelor's in Nursing if Masters is not in Nursing.
• DNP preferred.
• 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Hospital nursing experience preferred.
• RN upon hire required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the advancement of nursing professional practice to improve patient outcomes.

• Facilitate and sustain a Magnet culture to meet organizational strategic goals.
• Design and deploy organizational efforts for Magnet or Pathway to Excellence designation.
• Research, analyze, and participate in process improvements for patient satisfaction and nurse engagement.
• Develop unit champions and coordinate education needs for nursing units.
