About The Position

The Clinical Engineer will use design skills and knowledge to support multiple aspects of the Biomedical Equipment Services program. This includes oversight of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program, and Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) strategy and oversight and regulatory compliance. The clinical engineer will participate in capital equipment planning, life-cycle management, and development, implementation support and review of healthcare technology cybersecurity strategies as related to the Biomedical Department. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Biomedical Engineering
  • 1-2 years experience Medical equipment sales or support

  • Certification in Clinical Engineering Preferred Upon Hire

Responsibilities

  • Administer the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Healthcare Technology Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) program.
  • Participate in capital planning and programming for replacement of medical equipment.
  • Coordinate security management process including risk (e.g., criticality probability) and vulnerability analysis and related documentation associated with interconnected/integrated medical systems.
  • Design medical device implementation and integration plans
