About The Position

As the Clinical Educator your responsibilities will include: Design and Delivery of Clinical Education Develop and facilitate clinical learning programs in both online and in-person formats. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and WesleyLife philosophies. Collaboration Across Teams Work with Health Services, Clinical Excellence, and Organizational Learning to: Establish documentation and processes. Secure classrooms and equipment. Create auditing and tracking systems for ongoing program success. Evaluation of Program Effectiveness Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical training programs. Maintain and report on retention, completion, and other metrics to assess program impact. Defining Competencies Identify essential competencies for licensed and certified clinical team members. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while building capabilities for quality care. Managing Training Plans Develop onboarding and orientation practices that meet annual training requirements. Oversee clinical training programs Supporting Internal Career Development Identify career pathways and create aligned educational opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an RN, with at least one year of experience as an RN within a long-term care setting.
  • A valid Iowa RN licenses is required to be considered for this position.
  • Proficient in the use of learning development and delivery software (Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, etc.).
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Certified in one of more of the following or able to obtain within 6 months of hire: MHFA, CPR / BLS Instructor Certification.
  • Completed Wound Care Certification, IV Certification, Certified Dementia Practitioner or other identified areas of clinical competency.
