Under the direction of the Director of Education and Nursing Quality, the Clinical Educator (CE) assumes responsibility for assessing the clinical learning needs of the inpatient nursing staff, responding to those needs by serving as a clinical resource and role model, and promoting an environment that encourages professional growth and quality patient care. In collaboration with nursing leadership, the CE supports the educational goals and objectives of the nursing departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Current RN License in Massachusetts
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification
  • Minimum 5 years of current medical, surgical, and cardiac monitoring experience
  • Bedside teaching experience (e.g., student nurses, preceptees)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, Quality, or related field
  • Certification in a related specialty
  • Critical care experience
