About The Position

This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus based on your eligibility and experience. 0-1 years of experience: 2-year commitment: $10,000 3-year commitment: $12,000 1-2 years of experience: 2-year commitment: $10,000 3-year commitment: $17,000 2+ years of experience: 2-year commitment: $15,000 3-year commitment: $25,000. This job is responsible to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities for assigned areas and participate in meeting educational needs in collaboration with nursing education.

Requirements

  • Required Associate degree in Surgical Technology OR 3 years of relevant and progressive experience in lieu of degree
  • 3 years of experience in Clinical Computer skills
  • CST OR TS-C Surgical Technology Certification
  • BLS

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care staffing OR rooms. (50%)
  • Participates in coordination and continuity of orientation programs in collaboration with the AHN education team. (15%)
  • Conducts and analyzes formal and informal learning needs with leadership and staff.
  • Develops and implements annual education and competency assessment plans in collaboration with nursing educator and demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with collaborative feedback to clinical services. (15%)
  • Works in collaboration with leadership and staff to facilitate and implement quality and performance improvement initiatives. (10%)
  • Contributes to the achievement of department, divisional and organizational goals. (10%)
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.
