Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a RN Clinical Educator Nursing to work with our Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) team. This role is full-time, M-F. Relocation assistance eligible. Requirements

• Master's Degree or BSN and enrolled in Master's program upon start.
• 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty; 3 months of experience serving as preceptor.
• BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes system strategies and tools to assess the competency of new nursing staff members while focusing on quality of care and patient safety goals.
• Integrates theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles and clinical nursing expertise into educational experiences for both new and experienced team members.
• Prepares annual self-development plans, sets professional goals and seeks opportunities for achieving them.
• Contributes to quality and safety initiatives across the organization.
