The position involves planning, coordinating, supervising, and implementing activities related to Allegheny County Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) prevention and education, as well as violence and gambling prevention. The role requires identifying educational program needs for teachers, addiction and mental health professionals, and student assistance teams. The successful candidate will utilize evidence-based prevention and training curricula as determined by the Addiction Medicine Services, Program Manager, in conjunction with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Drug and Alcohol Programs, and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP).
