About The Position

The Clinical Education Director, RN at Eventide Senior Living Communities is responsible for overseeing the development, coordination, and implementation of clinical education and training programs for all employees. This role focuses on enhancing the skills and knowledge of staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and will play a crucial role in training new hires and conducting ongoing education for existing staff.

Requirements

• Current MN RN License in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (or approved equivalent).
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational needs of all employees.
• Prepare, conduct, and coordinate training programs for all employees and management.
• Develop instructional materials to assist employees as needed.
• Schedule and conduct CPR certification classes for Nurses, Home Health Aides, and qualified individuals.
• Work with the Nursing Assistant Class Instructor to prepare new class schedules and order necessary supplies.
• Schedule mandatory in-services and monitor the computerized In-service Tracking System.
• Provide safety instruction per location for sites.
• Assist Human Resources with New Orientation and implementation in ND and MN locations.
• Promote continuing education on ICARE values throughout the organization.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all staff and display a friendly, outgoing, helpful attitude.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and services offered.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Assist Human Resources with various projects.
• Rotate weekend and weekly on-call responsibilities and provide leadership to direct care staff.
