About The Position
The Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) at Ascension is responsible for improving the quality, completeness, and accuracy of medical record documentation. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure that the severity of illness and level of services provided are accurately reflected in the medical records, as well as resolving documentation issues prior to patient discharge.
