About The Position
The Clinical Documentation position is a full-time remote role focused on improving the quality, completeness, and accuracy of medical record documentation. The responsibilities include completing admission reviews, assigning working Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs), and ensuring that all relevant information is accurately entered into the Clinical Documentation Improvement database. The role requires extensive interaction with physicians and mid-level providers to gather detailed information for medical records, collaborating with healthcare professionals to accurately reflect the severity of illness and services provided, and maintaining accurate records of review activities to validate the outcomes of CDI efforts.
