About The Position

Telecare is seeking a Clinical Director (Licensed) to lead clinical operations at our Next Steps Program #266 in Olympia, WA . This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping clinical practice, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, recovery-focused care for individuals with complex behavioral health needs. This position is fully onsite and requires strong, visible leadership within the program. As the Clinical Director, you will serve as the clinical authority for the program—partnering closely with the Administrator to ensure: High-quality, compliant clinical care aligned with Washington State standards Strong clinical team performance, supervision, and development Effective coordination with community partners and system stakeholders A culture rooted in recovery, dignity, and person-centered care

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Services or related field
  • Active Washington State Independent Behavioral Health License (REQUIRED) (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT – must be fully licensed, not associate level)
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience in behavioral health
  • Minimum 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience working with mental health and/or substance use populations
  • Strong understanding of Washington behavioral health system and compliance standards
  • 100% onsite role in Olympia, WA – no remote or hybrid option
  • Participation in on-call rotation required
  • May include occasional physical activity (standing, walking, light lifting)

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and oversight to multidisciplinary teams
  • Establish and maintain clinical systems, standards, and best practices
  • Oversee documentation, audits, and compliance with State and County requirements
  • Partner with leadership on quality improvement, risk mitigation, and program outcomes
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources
  • Lead incident reviews, clinical trainings, and staff development initiatives
  • Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and recovery-oriented services
  • Participate in a structured on-call rotation to support program operations
