About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Chicago, IL (Wicker Park area) is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead and grow a high-performing outpatient physical therapy clinic. This is an exceptional opportunity for a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with strong leadership skills who is ready to take ownership of a clinic and drive both clinical excellence and business growth. Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Minimum of 5 years of outpatient physical therapy experience
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois (or license-eligible)
- Strong interest in orthopedics, neurological, vestibular, and balance rehabilitation
- Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative leadership style
- Passion for mentoring and developing high-performing clinical teams
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinic operations and daily workflows to ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain a full outpatient caseload while leading the clinic
- Lead, mentor, and develop physical therapists and PTAs
- Ensure clinical excellence across orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and balance programs
- Drive clinic growth through strategic planning, community outreach, and performance optimization
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Track and report key performance metrics
- Partner with ownership to build and sustain a positive, high-performing clinic culture
