About The Position

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Chicago is looking for an experienced Clinical Director to oversee and advance a successful outpatient physical therapy clinic. This role is ideal for a motivated Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who enjoys leading teams, driving clinical excellence, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic practice. Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • At least 5 years of outpatient physical therapy experience
  • Active Illinois PT license (or license-eligible)
  • Strong clinical interest in orthopedics, neurological, vestibular, and balance rehab
  • Organized, self-driven, and collaborative leadership approach
  • Commitment to developing and mentoring clinical teams

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality care
  • Carry an outpatient caseload while providing clinical leadership
  • Coach, mentor, and develop physical therapists and PTAs
  • Uphold excellence across orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and balance programs
  • Support clinic growth through strategic initiatives and performance improvement
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance reviews
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with ownership to maintain a positive and high-performing clinic culture
