About The Position

We are seeking a Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership for two Telecare TCAT programs serving Thurston and Mason Counties. This role offers a unique opportunity to guide multidisciplinary teams, strengthen community partnerships, and drive high-quality behavioral health care across two programs that play a critical role in the local system of care. In this mid-level leadership role, the Clinical Director works under the direction of the Program Administrator to provide clinical leadership, coordination, and supervision for multidisciplinary treatment teams across Thurston TCAT #256 and Mason TCAT #257. This role supports program quality, staff development, and community collaboration to ensure Telecare services meet the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • Current Washington State licensure as one of the following: LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent behavioral health licensure
  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • One (1) year of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Two (2) years post-graduate clinical experience in mental health services
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use needs
  • Experience collaborating with families, community partners, and advisory groups
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse and multicultural populations
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required pre-employment screenings including background clearance, physical exam, tuberculosis testing, and license verification.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the clinical authority for both programs, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Providing clinical supervision and leadership to multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
  • Supporting the Administrator with quality improvement initiatives and program operations
  • Ensuring treatment practices align with recovery-oriented care and evidence-based practices
  • Overseeing documentation and conducting clinical chart audits to meet state and county standards
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with county partners, providers, and community stakeholders
  • Supporting incident reviews and regulatory reporting when necessary
  • Ensuring members served receive high-quality, compassionate behavioral health services
  • participates in a structured leadership on-call rotation, supporting program operations outside standard business hours when necessary.
