About The Position

Provide leadership and direction for employees consistent with the Victory Bay Treatment Philosophy as well as clinical services to the clients of Victory Bay Recovery Center. Responsible for enhancing program goals and objectives, ensuring compliance standards are met for documentation and overall safety measures of the facility, as well as collaborating with medical, administrative, and operations departments to ensure processes are aligned for launching of new services.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or higher, in psychology, social work, addiction services, or related field, required.
  • LCADC required or LAC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, PhD AND Certified Clinical Supervisor LAC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, PhD encouraged
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Narcan Certified
  • 2 Years of Substance Abuse Counseling Experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Enthusiastic self-starter operating with sustained energy and showing great initiative.
  • Comfort working with a diverse base of support, including members, employers, providers, colleagues, community leaders, volunteers, non-profit organizations, vendors, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to read, write, spell in English legibly and without excessive grammatical or communication errors.
  • Talk and hear both by person and by telephone; ability to speak clearly and effectively using proper grammar before patients, employees and business partners, among others.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Must have strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record software requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen resources through collaboration with educational, community, practitioner, and outpatient and rehabilitation treatment partners.
  • Ensuring that incident reports are completed within 24 hours per internal reporting procedures
  • Survey/outcome support
  • Oversee family communication by staff on behalf of clients
  • Creatively lead VB clinicians and implement changes to curriculum when necessary
  • Daily monitoring of clinical activity and implementation
  • Become a Super Admin in KIPU
  • Make sure all signage in KIPU (Electronic Medical Records) is accurate and time stamps are not conflicting
  • Coordinate and supervise clinical treatment team meetings
  • Daily oversight of clinical schedules including managing clinical staff time off and coverage
  • Train clinical staff of proper documentation protocol including HIPPA and regulatory compliance for state and Joint Commission
  • Manage and/or conduct clinical staff performance evaluations according to regulations
  • Perform substance abuse assessments on clients that are coming into the program. After assessments are performed, make diagnosis and assign to primary clinician.
  • Ensure that direct clinical supervision is provided at least 1 hour a week to all clinical staff, in the form of group and individual supervision
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Ensure the treatment of clients with co-occurring disorders is provided by qualified clinical staff and that clinical consultation occurs between substance abuse and co-occurring
  • Provide orientation, training, and evaluation of newly hired clinical staff on agency processes
  • Various project support
  • Chart audits for overall compliance
  • Participate in planning of organizational expansion(s)
  • Data outcome collection and management
  • Function as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee that evaluates the compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Victory Bay Recovery Center treatment program
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure accuracy in billing encounters
  • Work with the psychiatrist and Director of Nursing on coordinating and scheduling and follow-up on psychiatric services for clients in need of evaluations, medication review or other services
  • Ensure that all clinical staff complete the required trainings as mandated by the NJ regulations and Joint Commission standards
  • Supervise the Integrated Services and Addiction Supervisor
  • Signing off on clinical documentation in KIPU and monitoring LOS audits
  • MAP implementation
  • Ensure Peer Reviews are completed
  • Clinical Leader for Admissions reviews
  • On-Call/After-Hours Phone coverage and availability, as needed
  • Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
  • As the company continues to grow, additional responsibilities that are essential for the department to be successful will be assigned accordingly.
