About The Position
ABC Behavior is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Director to lead our clinical services in Fairfax, VA. This role is pivotal in overseeing the delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across various settings, including in-home, clinic, social groups, and community outings. The Clinical Director will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to enhance service delivery quality and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, strong administrative skills, and a passion for building systems that support the development of our team and the individuals we serve. In this role, you will provide strategic clinical leadership to a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs). You will facilitate weekly consultations to discuss client care and service improvement strategies, ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of the field. Additionally, you will manage complex insurance processes, including authorizations for Medicaid and other insurance providers, to maximize client benefits and ensure compliance. The Clinical Director will also lead the development and implementation of training programs for staff, keeping them updated with the latest research and practices in ABA. You will conduct bi-weekly audits of clinical practices and client files to ensure adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Mentorship is a key component of this role, as you will assist newly credentialed BCBAs in meeting their professional requirements and finding their specializations within the field. Furthermore, you will enhance the organization's visibility and collaboration opportunities through strong relationships with local schools and social services. Promoting a positive work environment is essential, and you will organize staff events aimed at boosting morale and preventing professional burnout.
