Requirements

  • RN license in good standing in the applicable state(s).
  • Nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's).
  • At least one (1) year of clinical management experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor in home health or private duty setting.
  • Proven ability to lead clinical teams and oversee multi-patient care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all clinical operations within assigned location(s).
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of clinicians.
  • Overseeing recruitment, training, and performance of clinical staff.
  • Ensuring delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with Aveanna's mission.
  • Collaborating with physicians, families, and operational leadership to provide coordinated care.
  • Ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local home health regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Supporting program development and implementation initiatives alongside area leadership.
  • Playing a key role in location-level planning, strategy, and growth.
  • Assigning patients to Clinical Supervisors and Clinical Managers for day-to-day oversight.
  • Evaluating new referrals and making recommendations for nursing care needs.
  • Maintaining open and responsive communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Participating in on-call rotation and responding promptly to urgent clinical needs.
  • Promoting adherence to CHAP standards and other applicable regulations.
  • Monitoring patient care quality, clinical documentation, and outcomes.
  • Conducting investigations, audits, and supervisory visits as needed.
  • Ensuring staffing levels meet patient needs in coordination with operational leaders.
  • Maintaining awareness of third-party payor rules and regulations.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Director to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Supporting marketing and community engagement efforts.
