About The Position

Are you passionate about supporting the Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Population and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Clinical Director/Psychologist to join the Justice Innovation for Bronx Youth Program. Salary: $95,000 to 120,000 per year Schedule: Monday- Friday: 9AM-5PM Location: 1020 Grand Concourse North Professional Wing in the Bronx What drives the core purpose of this job: The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical components of the JIBY Program, including conducting assessments, developing individualized service plans, and providing clinical support to program staff and partners to ensure effective delivery of mental health and substance use disorder services to justice-involved adolescents.

Requirements

  • A licensed psychologist or mental health professional with significant experience in the juvenile justice system.
  • Clinical experience with justice-involved youth, including experience conducting psychological and risk assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions for mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including legal, healthcare, and community partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and deliver training.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and experience with data collection and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and risk assessments for justice-involved youth using validated assessment tools.
  • Develop and oversee individualized service plans (ISPs) tailored to the unique needs of each adolescent.
  • Provide clinical oversight and support to program staff, including case managers and peer support specialists.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations, such as Montefiore Medical Center and Lead by Example, to coordinate comprehensive care and services for participants.
  • Prepare detailed written reports for submission to program stakeholders, including the court, outlining assessment findings and treatment recommendations.
  • Work closely with families to ensure their involvement in the treatment process and to identify additional support needs.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of culturally responsive assessment models and service matrices.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training for program staff on assessment techniques and therapeutic interventions.
  • Engage with the Community Advisory Council (CAC) to ensure community input in program planning and implementation.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, making recommendations for program adjustments as necessary.
