About The Position

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking an experienced Clinical Director / Lead Physical Therapist to help launch and lead a brand-new clinic in Yuma, AZ. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated clinician who wants to shape clinical excellence, mentor a team, and build a patient-first culture from the ground up. At FYZICAL, quality care always comes before volume. As Clinical Director, you’ll balance hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, setting the clinical standard while growing a high-performing, collaborative team.

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist in Arizona (or license-eligible)
Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Passion for patient-centered care and team development
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in clinic growth

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one patient care with 40-minute treatment sessions
Maintain a manageable caseload while leading clinical operations
Serve as the clinical authority and mentor for future staff
Collaborate with ownership to drive quality, outcomes, and culture
Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing clinicians
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based care in: Orthopedic rehabilitation Neurological rehabilitation Balance and vestibular therapy
Ensure high clinical standards, documentation quality, and best practices
Mentor and support Physical Therapists and support staff
Foster a positive, patient-centered, and growth-oriented clinic culture
Contribute to strategic planning and clinic development
