The position involves educating, training, and mentoring doctors in surgical and implant restorative procedures, both in-office and through learning and development programs. The role serves as the primary clinical contact for internal and external implant partners, focusing on building and maintaining essential partnerships. The candidate will review evidence-based practice standards and recommend their incorporation into dental practices. Additionally, the position requires advising dentists and clinical team members on appropriate implant treatment plans tailored to patient needs, providing support to doctors and practice teams, and developing implant-related programs to enhance patient care and practice productivity. The role also includes assisting with the development and presentation of continuing education programs at both regional and national levels, participating in doctor programs, and supporting the evaluation and implementation of new patient care implant technologies. The candidate will work closely with field leadership and other departments to establish successful doctor retention strategies and monitor financial performance related to implant procedures.

  • Educates, trains, and mentors doctors with hands-on surgical and implant restorative procedures.
  • Serves as the primary clinical contact for division internal and external implant partners.
  • Reviews evidence-based practice standards and recommends their incorporation into dental practice.
  • Advises dentists and clinical team members on appropriate implant treatment plan recommendations.
  • Provides in-office and in-region support to Doctors and Practice teams.
  • Develops and implements implant-related programs for superior patient care and practice productivity.
  • Assists with implant continuing education program development and presentation.
  • Participates in Doctor programs.
  • Supports the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of new patient care implant technologies.
  • Partners with Field Leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Practice Ownership for doctor retention strategies.
  • Monitors revenues and expenditures for assigned Practices to meet budgeted profit targets.
  • Identifies underperforming Practices and partners with Doctors to implement improvement plans.
  • Successful completion of dental training at a four-year accredited Dental School and received a DMD or DDS degree.
  • Experience with implants, orthodontics/clear aligners, and all restorative procedures.
  • Relevant advanced education for specialty areas.
  • Minimum of 3+ years clinical experience.
  • Ability to travel at least 70%.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, mentor, and train others.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
