About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for providing clinical oversight and consultative supervision of all non-medical direct care staff as well as working with other key staff to make sure that appropriate levels of clinical expertise are available at all levels of the company.

Requirements

  • MS degree in related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in diagnosing, treating, and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of children or adults with mental health or substance abuse disorders.
  • Two or more years of full-time, direct service experience which includes face-to-face treatment and interventions for a caseload of individuals with a primary mental health or substance abuse disorder diagnosis.
  • Licensure as required by state.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve while collaborating with our system partners.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated skills with motivating team and driving results to meet goals.
  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to influence others and drive change; 'hands-on' leader who promotes collaboration through example.
  • Strong identification with the Company’s mission and our commitment to the people we serve and the services we provide.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and consultative supervision of all non-medical direct care staff, including both administrative and clinical supervision within the agency.
  • Ensure appropriate assessments for individuals served; identify and implement, as appropriate, best practice protocols for programs.
  • Ensure continuity of care through the development of strong collaborative relationships with the Medical Director, QM Director, key clinical staff, other agencies, providers, and policymakers to ensure clinical expertise is available at all levels of the organization.
  • Directly supervise all agency clinicians or coordinate supervision via additional clinical supervisor(s) who also meet minimum supervisory requirements, and assist the agency with the establishment of practice guidelines.
  • Direct and supervise assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
  • Make decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.
  • Resolve employee problems within position responsibilities.
  • Design and support implementation of treatment protocols employed in service delivery.
  • Develop plans and protocols for new clinical and program training modules and supervision, maintaining fidelity to service models and service quality.
  • Provide training as needed.
