The Clinical Director is responsible for directing day to day operations of an ACP center-based program, supervising the team of center-based BCBAs, as well as carrying a caseload of clients to meet billing expectations based on number of direct reports. In addition to the organizational leadership responsibilities of growing a center the Clinical Director will continually monitor all assigned teams within the center-based program (BCBAs, BTs/RBTs, and interdisciplinary services providers), providing support and tracking progress to ensure relevant, high-quality, evidence-based treatment delivery. The Clinical Director is a key role at Autism Care Partners responsible for overseeing the quality of clinical care, training, and development and implementation of treatment programs and behavior intervention plans. The Clinical Director is responsible for both clinical and operations oversight for the center program.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Behavior Analysis (Degree in ABA preferred). BCBA required.
  • Licensures: State Behavior Analyst licensure required.
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a BCBA, with at least 2 years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism. Experience with behavior intervention plan development and programming for children diagnosed with autism.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) while attending to the needs of active children.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Maintain adjusted billing and clinical caseload based on number of direct reports.
  • Work collaboratively with SLP and/or OT clinicians.
  • Provide consistent individual and/or group meetings to staff BCBAs.
  • Complete 8 hours of BCBA Supervisor Training and provide supervision to BCBA mentees if needed.
  • Supervisors and collaboratively works with center Family Liaison, supporting scheduling and parent communication.
  • Works collaboratively with Direct of Training to facilitate center clinical and non-clinical trainings.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained in best practice procedures based upon the principles of behavior analysis, and commensurate with the responsibilities of their job duties.
  • Ensure (R)BTs receive quality and sufficient supervision.
  • Regularly review center analytics collaborating and problem solving with AVP to maintain a financially stable center.
  • Conduct performance reviews for site staff.
  • Staff performance management up to and including termination recommendations.
  • Create/develop performance improvement plans and/or other interventions in consultation with the AVP of Service Delivery
  • Review and sign incident reports.
  • Review, edit, and approve treatment plans and behavior support plans, recommend modifications to instructional programs based on frequent, systematic evaluation of direct observational data. Ensure BCBAs employee a wide array of strategies to program for and assess Clinical Director both skill acquisition and skill generalization over time and across people, settings, situations, and materials. Ensure treatment plans and renewals are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Works to positively impact team and center morale.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and presence at respective center is an essential requirement of this position.
  • Complete all clinical documentation and billing via electronic health record (EHR) in a thorough, efficient, and timely manner, in compliance with internal and external quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to the BACBs Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analyst.
