About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position at Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston, ME, approximately 35 miles north of Portland. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop their clinical skills as part of a supportive team. What You'll Do provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units; support outpatient oncology by providing occasional coverage, as assigned; work every 4th Saturday and rotating holidays providing hospital-wide coverage; be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities. Requirements

Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in ME
excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
a strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
